Is it just me or does Space Oddity become a much less profound song when you watch the original music video?
Normally I’d think Major Tom chose the idyllic freedom of space over the conflict-fraught Earth, but in the video he comes off as “Well shit Ground Control I found these two space babes so uh…yeah I’m not leaving their bed now.”
